Ewaiter is a system for restaurants designed to automate most functions of a waiter, allowing a customer to come, order, eat, and leave with minimal interaction with a waiter. It allows the customer to order food from a graphical menu and pay automatically with a credit card.

The kitchen staff receives the orders directly from the menu terminals. The system tracks the customers and tells the waiters when a customer requires assistance, and what type of assistance is required.

The manager will have the ability to print reports detailing daily, weekly, and monthly sales, showing long term trends as well as which items made the most profit.

In short, the Ewaiter system eliminates most of the responsibility of the waiters. Menus are available electronically and are simple to use yet are very powerful in that they can handle almost any situation required.
