Waiter Display
The Waiter Display is available to the waiter staff in order to effectively manage the sixteen tables. First, the display shows the drinks ordered at each of the tables. It is also able to display messages received from the customer and kitchen.
If a table should press their refill button, a blue message will appear at the bottom of the waiter terminal. Similarly, a request for help will show a red message at the bottom of the terminal.
When a customer tries to pay with cash, a pop-up window will appear on the waiter display. This pop-up will stall the order from reaching the kitchen until the waiter has received the cash payment. At that time, the waiter should press the OK button.
Similarly, when the kitchen says that an order is done, there will be a pop-up informing the waiter of the event. The waiter can then deliver the meal to the customers.
At any time, the waiter can issue a refund. The waiter is responsible for delivering the cash to the appropriate customer; the computer only records the amount which was lost. All the waiter needs to do is enter the amount and deliver the cash.
When customers leave a table, the waiter can clear the table's order by pressing the appropriate table button in the grid of table buttons. This will open up the table so that they can send in another order.
